Who is the day aimed at?
Career Leaders, SLT, Teachers, Governors, Enterprise Advisors and Employers
The aim of the day is to share practice and to provide practical support for schools in developing an action plan to meet the Gatsby Benchmarks.
How is the day structured?
The day is made up of a series of 30 minute workshops, 20 to choose from over the day. Over the day aspects for Gatsby Benchmarks will be discussed and practice shared. You can select the sessions of most relevance to you.
Sessions will look at:
Leading & managing a careers strategy
Support & models of employer engagement.
Careers & enterprise in the curriculum
Experience of work
Careers & the labour market
Guidance and supporting individual needs
There will be a support pack available to delegates, including pre and post activities to support strategy development.
Who are running the workshops?
Workshops will be delivered by schools and organisations that can support development. We will have an input from Ofsted in the form of a Q/A session.
Support workshops include, The Edge Foundation, The Education & Employers Taskforce,
National Careers Week, MyKindaFuture, Founders4Schools, Amazing Apprenticeships, Grofar, North East Local Enterprise Board, Bullwell Academy, Achievement Builder, Chelsea FC, CDI, etc
Time is built into the day for colleagues to have informal discussions and form partnerships. We see this as important part of the event.
Cost and Booking
The event is FREE to all schools and colleges, however there is a £50+vat deposit, returnable on attendance.
The event is charged out at £100+vat to organisations wishing to attend.
The event is charged out at £50+vat to C&E Enterprise Advisors working with schools.
